SORTA operates Metro fixed-route bus service. Greater Cincinnati’s public transportation system, the Queen City Metro offers service through Hamilton County and parts of Claremont County. Base fare is $1.00; maximum fare in Hamilton County is $1.50. You must have exact change, and dollar bills are accepted. Most buses run out of Government Square (Fifth Street at Walnut and Main streets) all day. There is also a downtown loop bus, Mon-Fri 10:30am- 2:30pm. Metro cards are available for purchase at SORTA’s office, 120 E. Fourth Street (in the Mercantile Center) and throughout the community.

Public Bus service is available between the airport and downtown Cincinnati and Covington seven days a week from 5 a.m. to midnight. Riders can board a TANK bus at the Terminal 1 crosswalk and outside the Terminal 3 baggage claim. TANK operates more than 130 buses in the three county region.

Amtrak trains traveling from cities east and west of Cincinnati make daily stops at Union Terminal. The station is open Mon 9:30am-5pm; Tue-Sun 9:30am-5pm, 11:30pm-6:30am.
