Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport, outside the International Terminal both domestic Terminals. Expect to pay around A$80 to A$85 for a return trip between the CBD (central business district) and Melbourne Airport.

Skybus offers a shuttle bus service from the airport to Melbourne CBD and city hotels. This service operates 24 hours, 7 days. Buses run every 10-15 minutes throughout the day and every 30-60 minutes overnight.

Driving to/from the airport
Most routes to the airport have signs carrying the recognizable airplane symbol. The symbol will point which way to turn at each intersection. Follow these symbols as they show the most direct route to the airport. The symbols will bring you to both the International and Domestic terminals. As you get closer they will be highlighted as International or Domestic.
