The Orlando Museum of Art has collections in modern and contemporary American Art, including prints by master artists such as Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns. The collection also includes contemporary artists (Katherine Bowling and Jane Hammond) Ancient American art, and wide variety of African Art. The Museum offers educational programs for children and adults, a summer arts camp and a lecture series. Admission: $6 for adults, $4 for seniors (55+), $4 for students with a valid ID, $4 for groups of 15 or more and $2 for children (4-11). Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am- 5pm; Sunday noon-5pm. Closed Mondays and Holidays.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the work of the Czech-American sculptor is depicted in a studio, two galleries, a chapel and a 3-acre garden. The galleries house 200 of his works with more than 400 pieces dispersed around the world.

Eatonville, just north of Orlando, is America’s oldest incorporated African-American municipality and was home to Zora Neale Hurston, the 20th century American writer, folklorist and anthropologist. The town’s historical significance is portrayed through churches, key buildings and the Zora Neale Hurston National Museum of Fine Arts, which rotates exhibits of works by artists of African descent.
