This famous street is home to some of the LA’s top restaurants, trendiest stores, and best walking tours. The street connects downtown to Beverly Hills and cuts through Hollywood and West Hollywood. Glamorous, but you can still find a deal in many of the stores.

The Promenade which runs from Broadway to Wilshire, is a great place to walk around, shop, and grab a bite to eat. It’s closed off to cars and full of every type of store imaginable. There’s also plenty of entertainment, from street performances to movie theaters.

The outdoor shopping center at Hollywood and Highland is located in the Mecca of touristy LA. With Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Walk of Fame, and the Kodak Theatre (home to the Oscars) outside, the area is always packed. The center itself has plenty of fine dining and shops to give a break from sight-seeing.
