The Discover Center has interactive science exhibits designed to teach and entertain at the same time.  There are both permanent and rotating exhibits, along with tours and classes.

The museum is housed within St. Paul Baptist Church building in Julia Davis Park.  It explores African American contributions and experiences with the state.

The museum is Idaho’s largest and most visited.  It tells the story of the state from prehistoric times to the present.  It’s located in Julia Davis Park.  The museum also has scheduled programs for students that add even more information than what’s in the museum exhibits.

Originally built in 1870, the penitentiary housed Idaho’s convicts for the next century.  Riots over conditions sparked a move in 1973, and once it closed it was placed on the historic register.  Exhibits focus on life in the prison from its founding to modern day.
