The Idaho State Capitol was built in 1905 and houses the state’s legislature and executive branch.  Its classic dome rises 208 feet in downtown Boise.

Thunder Mountain Lines has a series of different train rides that wind through Idaho’s natural beauty.  They also have plenty of themed rides, like including murder mystery theater and a trip to a pumpkin patch near Halloween.

The Botanical Garden covers 50 acres of what used to be the Idaho State Penitentiary.  It has many different types of plants, both native and non, and moves visitors through many different habitats and specialty gardens.
