Metacomet is a par 70, 18 hole regulation length course. Keep your eye out for the par 4 14th hole, which was ranked in Golf Magazine’s 500 best holes in the world. This private club has a driving range and banquet facilities as well.

Golf Digest ranked Wannamoisett the best course in the state, and it consistently ranks in the top 100 in America. It’s a par 69, 6,661 yard course with a spectacular par 3 third hole. It’s well bunkered and has an elevated green, so it can be tricky.

Firefly is an executive length 18 hole course. Par is 60, and it’s just 3,600 yards long. Fees are a dollar cheaper on weekdays. There’s also a driving range and lessons available, along with a bar and grill.

Wampanoag is a par 35, 9 hole course that stretches over 2,930 yards. It’s a wide, flat course that has a nice view of the Palmer River, and water comes in to play on three of the holes.

Rhode Island Country Club is a par 71 course that meanders over 6,800 yards. It has a 73 rating and a 127 slope. It was ranked among the top courses in Rhodes Island by Golf Digest. The country club has hosted 4 USGA championships, and the final 4 holes run along Narragansett Bay.

Chemawa is 5,400 yards from the longest tees for a par of 68. It has rye grass and a 65 rating. The short course is meticulously cared for, and has amenities not found at much more expensive private clubs, like a phone on the 9th to preorder lunch before you get in.
