Eastview is 20 minutes southeast of Rochester and is generally known as the premium mall in the area.  The stores tend to be upscale but not unattainable. There are around a couple hundred stores, six restaurants, and a theater on the premises.

This mall is huge and has hundreds of specialty retailers and department stores.  It’s a nice mall filled with the type of businesses that you’d expect.

The Marketplace is centrally located about three miles south of downtown Rochester.  The mall has special events periodically and is filled with traditional mall retailers.

Northfield Common is not your average mall.  It focuses on old world crafts and traditional merchandise prepared by craftsman.   The Common has a distinctly small village feel to it, it’s more shopping district than mega mall.

Pittsford Plaza is a big shopping center that has the Wegman’s flagship grocery store.  There are smaller specialty stores as well as traditional big anchors like Bed, Bath and Beyond and Barnes and Noble.  There are also dining options, sit-down to specialty.

Village Gate Square

Village Gate Square is a funky area in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts.  Many of Rochester’s attractions are in the area, along with nice restaurants and quirky shops.
